About Me

Dr. Houser-Betti brings more than 20 years of diverse clinical experience in the Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) field to her current private practice and contract work. She is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who has owned/operated her practice in the Charlotte area since 2008. She concurrently works in the Behavioral Managed Care Utilization Management (UM) space, where she conducts Neuropsychological Testing and I/DD medical necessity reviews for children, adolescents, and adults. As a clinical psychologist specializing in clinical neuropsychology with adolescents and adults, she possesses the skill set necessary to competently evaluate a broad spectrum of patients. She frequently conducts adult ADHD/ADD evaluations and Independent Medical Examinations (IME) in her practice. 

Dr. Houser-Betti is a seasoned and skilled Neuropsychologist who you will find very approachable and easy to work with. Her approach to all evaluations is to provide expert assessment and practical feedback to help clients effectively address their unique challenges. She integrates best practice test batteries and assessment techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Dr. Houser-Betti has a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She completed a 2 year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology under the direction of Dr. Kyle Boone at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She is licensed to practice psychology in North Carolina, New York, and California. Dr. Houser-Betti is a member of the American Psychological Association, an affiliate member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and a member of the Mecklenburg Psychological Association.
